The Building of a Custom
A photo feature
After the foundation is leveled, a "jitterbug", a tool with a perforated bottom plate, is used to make sure that the top portion of concrete is free of solid matter.
After the "jitterbug" is used, a long-handled tool called a "bull float" is used to smooth the newly placed concrete.
Finally, a power trowel is used to smooth the concrete. Learn more about concrete at The Concrete Network.
