The Building of a Custom
Home
A photo feature
Once the workers were finished planting, they began to make piles of mulch to spread over the area. Even though there was mulch used in the first stage of planting, additional mulch was needed after all of the new plants were added. The path that starts in the left center of the picture and goes around the front of the house is for drainage and will also provide a walkway when the plants are established. The path will eventually be filled with river rock.
One worker is spreading mulch while another uses a wheelbarrow to bring additional mulch. The worker on the right is clearing about a foot path that follows the edge of the driveway, and it will be filled with rocks and used for drainage.
The front yard is covered with mulch.
