The Building of a Custom

Stage Two of the landscaping began early in the morning on November 24, 1999. Stage Two was implemented by a different landscaping company than Stage One. Schultz & Co. Landscapes was highly recommended in the San Antonio area, and there was about a 6-8 week waiting list. Although it is beginning to get colder in San Antonio, the hardy, evergreen plants that are being planted in this stage will not be in danger of frost damage.
The trailer above is loaded with all of the plants that will be used today. The first step was to unload the plants, and like plants are grouped together on the driveway.
Following the original plans by the landscape architect, the landscape company starts to place the plants where they belong.
Although the plans specify the general location for each plant, the landscape company places all of the plants where they belong before they start any of the work. This allows the landscapers to determine if slight modifications should be made to achieve optimum results.
