21. Landscaping - Stage 2
The Beginning

 

Stage Two of the landscaping began early in the morning on November 24, 1999.  Stage Two was implemented by a different landscaping company than Stage One.  Schultz & Co. Landscapes was highly recommended in the San Antonio area, and there was about a 6-8 week waiting list.  Although it is beginning to get colder in San Antonio, the hardy, evergreen plants that are being planted in this stage will not be in danger of frost damage.  

Stage Two of the landscaping began early in the morning on November 24, 1999.  Like plants are grouped together on the driveway.

The trailer above is loaded with all of the plants that will be used today.  The first step was to unload the plants, and like plants are grouped together on the driveway.

 

Following the original plans by the landscape architect, the landscape company starts to place the plants where they belong.

Although the plans specify the location for each plant, it is beneficial to place all of the plants where they belong ahead of time.
