The Building of a Custom
Home
A photo feature
The planting was completed as it began to get dark, and the workers started to clean-up.
Once the planting was finished, the plants were thoroughly watered. The large area without plants on the bottom of the picture is scheduled to be completed in Stage 3 of the landscaping (after the Winter months).
The above photo and the following picture show some of the finished planted areas. This picture is of the back yard, and some of the plants used above include: Nandina, Barberry (Crimson Pigmy), Harbor Dwarf Nandina, and Giant Liriope. The beige colored area surrounding the grass is crushed granite. It is used for decorative purposes as well as providing a space between the planted areas and the grass to help with mowing.
This is another picture of the back yard. There are many plants that have not yet been planted in the landscape, so there are large visible areas of mulch at this time. The remaining plants need to be established before being exposed to freezing weather, so they will be planted next Spring in the final stage of this landscape implementation.
